Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), has approved the use of new web addresses beginning with an ".xxx" suffix. Read this.
The fee, however, will be ten times more expensive than the dot-com. company. This will help to protect kids as well as enabling the filtering software used by families to be more effective to block the access to those sites.
Other new suffixs include ".jobs" and ".travel".
