Yahoo posted US$ 1.6 billion for 2003, an increased from US$ 953.1 million in 2002. This article listed three main areas of earning namely Marketing Services, Subcription Fees and Listing.
A large proportion comes from the Marketing Services [mainly on advertisments] which generated US$ 1.2 billion, an 84% jump from the year before.
